Terms of service.

These terms apply to installation and assembly services provided by Helperama in the Greater Toronto Area.

Quotes

Quotes are based on the information you give us, including the brand, model and size of the product and the surface it is being installed on. If conditions on site differ materially from what was described, we will tell you before continuing and agree any change with you first.

Quotes are free and valid for thirty days unless stated otherwise.

Booking and access

You are responsible for ensuring the product is on site and accessible on the agreed date, and that we have safe access to the work area. Where a job cannot proceed because the product has not arrived or access is not available, a return visit may be chargeable.

The product

We install products supplied by you. We are not responsible for manufacturing defects, missing components or design limitations of the product itself. Where parts are missing or damaged, we will identify them so you can claim from the retailer, and return to complete the work once replacements arrive.

Site conditions

Structures must be installed on a suitable, level surface. Where the existing surface is unsuitable, we will advise what is needed. We are not responsible for issues arising from a base or surface we did not build.

Packaging

We break down and stack packaging on site for your own waste collection. Removal of packaging or other material from the property is not included.

Workmanship guarantee

Our work is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of installation. The guarantee covers failures arising from how we assembled or installed the item. It does not cover product defects, weather or impact damage, or work altered by others.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless other terms have been agreed in writing. Commercial accounts may be invoiced on agreed terms.

Cancellation

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. Cancellations at short notice may be subject to a charge where a crew has already been dispatched.

Liability

Helperama carries liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed, except where law provides otherwise.
