When it is time to replace
We do not repair structures. If the old one is past its life, we take it out and build the new one.
The frame has twisted
Usually means it was never level underneath. A replacement built on a proper base is the fix.
The roof or panels have gone
Once the roof goes the rest tends to follow. A new kit installed properly is usually the sensible move.
Rot at the posts
Wood sitting in wet ground keeps failing. If the posts have gone, the structure has gone with them.
You just want something better
Plenty of removals are simply an upgrade from a small soft-top to a proper hardtop or cedar structure.
How the pricing works
- Removal and disposal are quoted separately from the installation, not bundled in silently.
- Doing both on one visit costs less than booking them apart, because the crew is already there.
- Size, material and access all affect the number. Tell us what is there and we will price it exactly.
- You will have the full figure before anyone starts work.
Common questions
Do you take the old structure away?
Yes, where you have booked removal and disposal. It is a separate service from installation and we quote it with the job so the price is clear up front.
Can you do the takedown and the new build in one visit?
Often yes, and it is the cheapest way to do it because the crew is already on site. Larger structures sometimes need the takedown one day and the build the next.
What if the old one is rotten or unsafe?
That is usually why people call. Tell us what condition it is in and send a photo so we can plan the takedown properly.
Do you dispose of it or leave it on site?
Disposal is included when you book removal. If you would rather keep the material, say so and we will stack it where you want it.
What about the packaging from the new structure?
Packaging from a new install is broken down and stacked on site for your own collection day. If you want that taken away as well, add it to the quote and we will handle it.
Can you remove a structure without installing a new one?
Yes. Removal on its own is fine, though most people book it alongside a replacement.
