Gazebo installation, done properly.
Yardistry, Sojag, Sunjoy, Hampton Bay and the rest. We assemble it, level it and anchor it to the surface you have, so it holds through an Ontario winter.

What we handle
Every kit is different. These are the parts that decide whether it lasts.
- Full assembly from the box, including the roof panels most people struggle with
- Checked for level before anything is fixed down, on decks, patio stone or concrete
- Anchoring matched to the surface, so wind does not lift it
- Curtain rails, netting and hardware fitted and tested
- Roof sealing checked before we leave
Brands we install
We install whatever you bought, wherever you bought it.
Yardistry · Sojag · Sunjoy · Hampton Bay · Backyard Discovery · Costco · Home Depot · Canadian Tire
Level first, then anchor
The part most crews skip.
- A slight slope on a patio or pad is normal and deliberate. It is how water runs off, and it is not a problem.
- What matters is how far off it is. A pad that has settled, heaved over a winter or was poured badly can be out by enough to matter.
- Set a structure straight onto that and it leans. You see it in the roof line, the posts and anything that hangs.
- The load also stops sitting evenly across the posts, which over years is a safety issue rather than just a cosmetic one.
- When the surface is out far enough to matter, we shim with stone or custom-cut wood blocks until the frame is true, then anchor it down.
- Levelling work is only done when it is actually needed, and it is quoted separately if so. Most jobs do not need it.
- We check before we build rather than after. That is the whole point.
Replacing an old one?
Plenty of these jobs start with something that has to come out first.
We take down old gazebos, dispose of the material and build the new one in its place, often on the same visit. Removal is quoted as its own service alongside the install, so you see the full price before anything starts. See removal and replacement.
Common questions
How long does a gazebo installation take?
Most 10x10 and 10x12 hardtop gazebos are a single-day job for our crew. Larger cedar structures and anything needing a base built first can run into a second day. We will tell you which when we quote.
Do I need a pad or deck first?
You need a solid, level surface. We install on decks, patio stone and concrete. We do not install onto grass or soil, because a structure sitting on soft ground will shift. If you do not have a suitable surface we build a base first.
My concrete slopes. Is that a problem?
A slight slope is normal and intended, so usually no. Pads are poured to drain. The question is how far off it is. If it has settled, heaved or was poured badly, we shim with stone or custom-cut wood blocks until the frame sits true before anchoring. That is quoted separately and only if it is actually needed. Most jobs do not need it, but we check first either way.
Can you anchor into a deck?
Yes. Deck, concrete and patio stone each take different anchors and we bring the right ones for the surface you tell us about.
Do you install gazebos you did not supply?
That is the whole idea. You buy it wherever you like, we install it.
What if parts are missing from the box?
It happens more than you would think. We will identify exactly what is missing so you can claim it from the retailer, and come back to finish once it arrives.
