Helperama Inc.
Please review the terms below before your scheduled installation.
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the installation complies with all applicable municipal bylaws, zoning regulations, homeowner association requirements, permit requirements, and property restrictions, including but not limited to:
Helperama Inc. does not provide permitting services and is not responsible for obtaining permits, approvals, surveys, inspections, locates, engineering reports, or municipal authorization.
Should the installation later be deemed non-compliant by any municipality, governing authority, homeowner association, or third party, the customer assumes full responsibility. Any relocation, modification, removal, repair, or corrective work required after installation is not included in the original scope of work and will be quoted separately.
The installation area must be fully prepared, accessible, and free of obstructions before our arrival.
The customer is responsible for providing a suitable base capable of supporting the structure in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Helperama Inc. reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or cancel an installation if site conditions are deemed unsafe, inaccessible, unstable, unsuitable, or likely to compromise the integrity of the structure.
If the customer chooses to proceed with installation on an existing base that is uneven, out of level, unstable, undersized, improperly compacted, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable, the customer accepts full responsibility for the condition of the base.
Helperama Inc. shall not be responsible for any resulting issues, including but not limited to:
Where site conditions require it, Helperama Inc. may use shims, patio stones, leveling blocks, pressure-treated lumber, or similar materials to improve stability and compensate for uneven surfaces.
These methods are intended to provide a practical leveling solution and allow installation to proceed on existing grades and surfaces. However, they are not a substitute for a properly engineered foundation.
Concrete footings or another permanent foundation system remain the safest and most reliable solution for long-term structural support and are strongly recommended where significant leveling is required.
By choosing to proceed without concrete footings or a permanent engineered foundation, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
By proceeding with installation, the customer accepts full responsibility for the long-term performance of the foundation and acknowledges that Helperama Inc.'s responsibility is limited to performing the installation based on the site conditions present on the date of service.
Helperama Inc. provides a one-year workmanship warranty covering defects that arise solely and directly from our installation services.
This warranty applies only to workmanship performed by Helperama Inc. and does not cover:
For manufacturer defects, missing parts, product failures, or warranty claims relating to the product itself, customers must contact the manufacturer or retailer directly.
If damage is discovered during unboxing, our installers will document the issue and notify the customer.
For significant transit damage or missing parts, Helperama Inc. may:
If missing parts, incorrect parts, or product damage prevent completion of the installation, a $100 service charge will apply to cover travel, scheduling, and labour costs.
Any return visit required due to manufacturer issues, shipping damage, or missing parts may be subject to additional charges.
A $100 service charge may apply when our team is unable to complete the installation due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the site is fully accessible and installation-ready prior to the scheduled appointment.
Anchoring is strongly recommended to improve stability and reduce the risk of movement during high winds and adverse weather conditions.
If anchoring is declined, incomplete, or cannot be fully completed due to mixed surface conditions, existing site limitations, or customer preference, the customer assumes all responsibility for any resulting movement, instability, weather-related damage, or structural issues.
Where anchoring is performed into existing concrete, patio stones, pavers, interlock, asphalt, or similar surfaces, Helperama Inc. is not responsible for cracking, chipping, shifting, lifting, surface damage, or cosmetic damage that may occur during or after installation.
Customers should inspect all surfaces prior to installation and consult their product manufacturer regarding anchoring requirements and wind ratings.
Helperama Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by snow accumulation, ice buildup, high winds, storms, freezing temperatures, extreme weather events, or any other environmental conditions.
Every structure has unique snow load requirements and maintenance recommendations. Customers are solely responsible for following all manufacturer guidelines regarding snow removal, winter maintenance, seasonal inspections, and weather-related precautions.
Helperama Inc.'s total liability for any claim arising from the installation shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the installation service.
Under no circumstances shall Helperama Inc. be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or future damages, including loss of use, loss of enjoyment, property damage, business interruption, relocation costs, removal costs, or replacement costs arising from the use, performance, movement, settlement, weather exposure, foundation conditions, or failure of any structure.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
E-transfer payments should be sent to: info@helperama.ca
For shed installations requiring a custom-built wood base, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required a minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Failure to provide the required deposit may result in cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment.
Outstanding balances may be subject to collection costs and applicable legal fees.
By proceeding with the installation, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Service Terms & Conditions. The customer further acknowledges that they accept full responsibility for the condition, suitability, and long-term performance of the installation site, foundation, and surrounding property conditions.
